THE SAN MARINO REPUBLIC IS ONCE AGAIN STAGING THE EVENT, FROM 7 TO 10 OCTOBER.
Republic of San Marino. The traditional yearly appointment with Rallylegend, the event staging in the Republic of San Marino and very much awaited by tens of thousands fans all around the world, is confirmed. The date of the nineteenth Rallylegend is fixed from 7 to 10 October and the “construction site” setting up
the “rally festival” is already full of activity. After the 2020 edition – a well deserved success, considering the objective conditions in which Rallylegend took place, with the Covid 19 pandemic handled with great skills and attention, with no spreading registered afterwards, and therefore the “exam” considered brilliantly passed, by the FIA WRC “safety” unit, and an attendance of both participants and the public necessarily limited albeit important – the Organizers look with great optimism and confidence at Rallylegend 2021, especially for the many crews and spectators coming from abroad.
Now the opening day for entries is fixed at July 15 while tickets will be on sale online starting from July 1. Rallylegend format and all contents are now being defined but the fundamental structure of the rally, the pulsating heart of the event, has already been approved with some important innovations. The rally, within Rallylegend 2021, is set to play out Friday 8 October, withfirst-time special stage, longer than the usual ones, to be repeated twice. Then, on Saturday 9 October, the rally continues with a loop of three special stages to be repeated twice, and the closing day, Sunday 10 October, it will all take place at the show stage.
According to tradition at the start there will be cars of the following classes: Historic, Myth, and World Rally Car. Within this last group, a limited number of R5 cars will be experimentally allowed to race to meet the requests of many drivers. An additional and exciting challenge among “supercars” as is in Rallylegend DNA. The very much appreciated Rallylegend Heritage is also confirmed, precious and original historic rally cars with “pedigree”, a shop window of refined cars engaged in a Sport Regularity race. Inside Rallylegend Village – open from Thursday 7 October – as a consolidated tradition, many meetings, shows, and events will take place rotating around celebrations, great champions and exclusive cars directly coming from the rally history.
